Reduction In Group Sizes

It has been announced that as of  Monday 14th September 2020, it will be illegal for groups of more than 6 people to gather in a social environment.Therefore, as of this date we will not be accepting bookings for groups that exceed this number until further notice. 

Confirmed Re-opening 23/06/2020

As per today's (23/06/2020) Government announcement Ramada by Wyndham Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield will re-open to the general public on Saturday 4th July 2020.

We already have a number of plans & procedures in place to safeguard both our colleagues and guests and we will be introducing more in the run up to the re-opening date.

Christmas & New Year Bookings 2020

With the current uncertainty surrounding forward planning in 2020 and beyond, we are offering 'Book Now, Pay Later'  for all Christmas & New Year bookings. Booked places will be held & secured until the beginning of October 2020 without a deposit, at which point we will follow up with you to the booking, only then will a payment be required. 


We are currently planning the festive period as normal but incorporating social distancing elements into the plan. Should official guidelines change our internal policies and procedures will follow suit, events will only be cancelled if minimum numbers are not satisfied or if government advice & guidelines dictate.  

COVID-19 Conference & Events Addendum - 30/05/2020

Both parties acknowledge the ongoing COVID-19 crisis in the UK and accept their obligation to comply with any official guidance from UK Government. The parties agree to communicate without delay any issues they may have in performing their obligations under this agreement. You [organiser] acknowledge that COVID-19 may require us to take one or more of the following measures for the safety of our staff and the safety of delegates attending the event to which this booking relates: (i) impose maximum delegate numbers at the event; (ii) limit food or drink availability; (iii) impose specific requirements regarding personal protective equipment such as the wearing of masks; (iv) restrict the numbers of overnight stays if applicable; and/or (v) limit any planned entertainment for your event; (vi) designate alternative entrance and exit routes. In some circumstances we might consider revising your booking fee. If we are obliged due to specific Government restrictions, to close our venue, we may offer you an alternative date for the event but if that cannot be agreed the booking will be deemed cancelled and your deposit will be returned in full with no further payment required. If you are unable to provide the agreed delegate numbers because of infections or travel restrictions, then we will offer you either a proportionate reduced fee for the event or agree to cancel the booking and return your deposit and any additional sums already paid. If delegate numbers decrease below 70% of the contracted number (notified by the organiser in writing a minimum of 15 working days prior to event), we reserve the right to cancel the event.

As we prepare to welcome guests back to the hotel for more than essential stays we have implemented the following policy to give our guests piece of mind and to let visitors know our expectations when they enter the hotel.

Social Distancing Measures - 27/05/2020

Today social distancing measures have been implemented in the hotel's public areas to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Official markings have been placed in the lobby area demoting the 2m safe distance, outdoor furniture has been repositioned to comply with social distancing guidelines. 

Updated Reservation Policy - 27/05/2020

We have made additional adjustments to our cancellation policy to offer you flexibility and piece of mind when staying and booking with us. 

  • Existing Reservations. All individual reservations - including “non-cancellable” (“Advanced Purchase”) - that are scheduled for arrival on or before 1st July 2020 can be changed or cancelled at no charge, up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival day.

  • New Reservations. Any new individual reservations - including “non-cancellable” (“Advanced Purchase”) that are booked between now & 1st July 2020 for any 2020 date can be changed or cancelled at no charge, up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival day.

If you do wish to cancel a rate which requires a deposit, we will process your refund as quickly as possible. Due to the high volume of cancellations, it may take up to 30 days to complete your request. If you need to adjust reservations made through a 3rd party site, please contact them for assistance.
